The Ambulatory Surgery Center, within a new three-story medical office building, features four operating rooms, twelve pre/post-operative bays, a sterile processing department, and staff support areas. The entire facility is designed to expand to support two additional operating rooms should the community needs grow.
The layout promotes efficient workflow through centrally located nurse stations with clear sightlines to patient bays and clinical zones, and dedicated “off-stage” corridors providing private staff movement.
Patient and staff comfort was prioritized throughout the suite. Soft color palettes, dimmable lighting, and
acoustic treatments that reduce noise and create a calming environment were used in the patent bays. In the procedure areas, rubber flooring provides underfoot cushioning, and subtle blue accents under the operating tables ease visual strain during procedures. The result is a flexible, efficient, and deeply human-centered
environment redefining outpatient surgical care.
