Moon Library Renovation

The renovation of the Moon Library lower level at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry reimagines 2,990 square feet as a dynamic, inclusive, and sustainability focused hub for student life. The project introduces flexible learning environments, dedicated study rooms, and inviting social spaces designed to support a broad range of academic and creative activities.

Accessibility is significantly improved through new north and south entry vestibules, as well as associated site upgrades, including an outdoor patio area that strengthens the connection between Moon Library and the surrounding campus landscape.

Overall, the project transforms the lower level into a welcoming, future ready destination that celebrates community, supports student well being, and reinforces ESF’s commitment to sustainable and inclusive design.
