Incorporating strategic wayfinding opportunities by way of key landmarks into the design gives patients control of their experience and reduces stress. Material transitions, recessed lighting and wall graphics continue to orient patients naturally and organically. Natural light, biophilic materials, and soft tonal palettes create a restorative environment, and daylight and views enhance the waiting area. Warm wood tones, nature-inspired graphics, and nearby changing areas support a further support a stress-free patient flow.
